B+C Studio’s Pro-Bono Project Fountain Gate Gardens has its ground breaking!

This past fall B+C Studio’s Director of Design, Mr. Sean J Murphy and staff at B+C Studio prepared a Master Plan for the farm at Fountain Gate Counseling Center. The plan envisions a multi-purpose garden and grounds with elements including; a community garden with plots for lease, large farm plots for Cobb Master Gardeners and KSU students, a sensory garden, healing gardens, children’s gardens, demonstration gardens, event lawn, and much more. When complete Mr. Murphy recommended naming the project Fountain Gate Gardens in lieu of the original proposed name of Fountain Gate Farm because the grounds seemed to be so much more than just a farm. The concept shown here shows the extents of the project which include an event lawn for weddings, a cafe and classrooms for education sessions on gardening taught by Cobb Master Gardeners.
